Just “Thank You”

Some days I just have a “Thank You” in my heart for God.  Today is one of those days where I desire nothing more than to tell Him “Thank You” and to reflect on His goodness in my life over these 44 years.  I am so humbled by God’s forgiveness, His greatness, His goodness, His love.  I TRULY don’t deserve to be here, to be who I am/where I am…but by His grace, I am.

Thank you, Father!  In Jesus’ name.

–From your oftentimes doubtful and disobedient son (who’s learning to love you nonetheless)

Julius Caesar, according to William Shakespeare's work, stated: "Cowards die many times before their deaths. The valiant never taste of death but once. Of all the wonders that I yet have heard, it seems to me most strange that men should fear; seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come." The Lord God, Jehovah, spoke to Moses saying: "Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their descendants after them." (Deuteronomy 1:8) He then spoke to Isaiah, the prophet, saying: "For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." (Isaiah 41:13) The Lord has given me His boldness to go into places He desires me to go, proving to me at each and every turn that He is with me and will never forsake me. I am here for the purpose(s) God has set before me and to share my journey with others along the way.
